Monday, August 15, 2011

Aboitiz-owned City Savings Bank (CitySavings) continues to pursue opportunities for growth in Luzon, with the recent opening of its 2nd branch in the region at the Iriz One Corporate Center in Pasig City. It is the bank's 28th branch nationwide.  Present during the inauguration were (from left) CitySavings VP-Head of Operations William Paradies, Iriz One Corporate Center owner Cynthia Yujuico, and CitySavings Chief Operating Officer Agnes Lacson.   The bank's first branch in Luzon opened last year in Calamba, Laguna.

Public school teachers in the National Capital Region may now experience the straightforward and simple service of Aboitiz-owned City Savings Bank (CitySavings) with the recent opening of its flagship branch at the Iriz One Corporate Center in Pasig City.

The latest CitySavings branch offers the same easy and simple banking products—regular savings and loans—that its growing number of clients in Visayas and Mindanao has been enjoying for the last 46 years.

CitySavings’ product portfolio includes deposit products like regular savings account, ATM account, students’ savings account, Kaugma-on (Cebuano for future) Savings and Savings Plus accounts, and its high-yield time deposits. The bank also offers DepEd salary loans to public schools teachers.

“Opening this new branch means more than just establishing a regional office in Luzon.  We’re here because we are ready to give clients the same experience of warm and helpful service that has made us an institution to rely on.

“Our branch network may be growing but we assure that CitySavings will retain its small bank personality by keeping things simple and offering excellent customer-focused service. For us, the customer is No. 1,” said CitySavings VP-Head of Operations William Paradies.

Paradies joined CitySavings officials led by SVP Agnes Lacson during the recent inauguration rites. Cynthia Yujuico, owner of Iriz One Corporate Center, was also present at the ceremony.

CitySavings Ortigas is the bank’s second branch in Luzon.  The first one, located in Calamba, Laguna, was opened in July 2010.
