Cleanergy and cycling
As part of its advocacy to inspire people to protect the environment, AboitizPower came up with its brand of clean and renewable power—Cleanergy. Cleanergy is produced from the AboitizPower’s hydro and geothermal facilities, giving consumers an option to reduce their carbon footprint and attain a more sustainable lifestyle. Cleanergy communicates AboitizPower’s goal to offer an energy solution that leaves a lighter impact on the environment, and to promote clean and renewable energy from sources that are sustainable and cleaner than fossil fuels.
The company believes that consumers are key to creating a market that encourages clean energy, its efficient use and its conservation.
“For customers to do this, they have to be aware of what’s happening to our environment as a result of pollution, and what the alternatives are. Events like the Tour of Subic promotes environmental awareness, and helps people know how they can participate in protecting the environment,” says SN AboitizPower CEO Manny Rubio.
Those who wish to participate in the cycling event may visit Bike King at B1 of Bonifacio High Street, Fort Bonifacio or call at 856-3362.
AboitizPower is the holding company for the Aboitiz Group’s investments in power generation, distribution, retail and power services. It is a major producer of Cleanergy, its brand for clean and renewable energy in the Philippines with several hydroelectric and geothermal assets in its generation portfolio and also has non-renewable power plants located across the country.
