Thousands of out-of-school youths, adults and public high school students in Mandaue City now have new equipment and facilities to help them with their educational needs.

The Aboitiz Group is now accepting applications from promising college students from all over the country to participate in the 7th Aboitiz Future Leaders Business Summit (AFLBS) on August 17-18, 2012 in Cebu City. 

Since 2006, the AFLBS has been bringing together the country’s top 90 college students nationwide for a two-day event that will feature activities about business and leadership. The gathering is the Aboitiz Group’s way of preparing today’s potential youth leaders for the corporate world and at the same time, inspiring them to develop renewed faith and hope in our country. 


Two upland communities in Cebu City now have the opportunity to earn additional livelihood income and to grow as an organization following the turnover of projects granted to them by Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (Foundation).

Sixteen students will have the chance to implement their own projects this year after submitting winning proposals during the Aboitiz Foundation’s 1st Scholars’ CSR Summit last Dec. 12 and 13 at the Mahogany Hall of Oakridge Business Park in Mandaue City.

A P200,000-financial assistance has been extended to the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (ERUF) to support the group in its operations.
